Fellowship for our children, support for ourselves.

Welcome Catholic Home Educators! This website supports Catholic homeschooling and promotes the Roman Catholic Faith. We are faithful and loyal to the Dogmas and infallible Magisterium of the Catholic Church and the Roman Pontiff.

California Catholic Home Educators in the Central Valley

Located in Northern California's Central Valley , our various Catholic homeschool support groups include the counties of San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Calaveras, Tuolumne and Merced. If you are already homeschooling in the area, thank you for stopping by.  Please see Upcoming Events, in the top column to the right of this webpage, for local Catholic homeschool activities. For Catholic Homeschooling in general, please browse our website in the right-hand column for excellent links and also in our Services page for resources to lead you to Catholic homeschooling groups throughout the USA.

Local Groups

We have several strong support groups in this community. Please view the Staff page for local Catholic homeschool contacts in your area. They will be happy to assist you with your homeschooling questions. Our Upcoming Events lists some, but not necessarily all, Catholic homeschooling events throughout the area. If you are a local Catholic home educator, please consider joining our group discussion forum. This membership serves as a contact base for local Catholic home educators in our area.

Thinking of homeschooling?

We believe in being available to families new to homeschooling or becoming interested in homeschooling.  As with any new venture, it is always easier to have a little help or guidance along the way.  Please browse our homeschool links to the right side of the website and contact us with your questions.  For successful homeschooling, it helps to establish a network of relationships with one another that offer encouragement and support our children's Roman Catholic Walk-of-Faith.

What the Vatican Had To Say To Catholic Homeschoolers

~The Catechism on Education~

Through the grace of the sacrament of marriage, parents receive the responsibility and privilege of evangelizing their children. Parents should initiate their children at an early age into the mysteries of the faith of which they are the "first heralds" for their children. They should associate them from their tenderest years with the life of the Church. A wholesome family life can foster interior dispositions that are a genuine preparation for a living faith and remain a support for it throughout one's life. Education in the faith by the parents should begin in the child's earliest years. This already happens when family members help one another to grow in faith by the witness of a Christian life in keeping with the Gospel. Parents have the mission of teaching their children to pray and to discover their vocation as children of God.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church 2225-2226

The Apostles Creed We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead; on the third day he ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
